- Check-In/Out: Check-in is after 3 p.m. Check out is
11 a.m.
- Late Arrival: You MUST notify us if you will arrive
later than 8:00 p.m.
- Children are welcome. We ask our guests to please
monitor their children so that a pleasant environment is maintained for
all.
- Pets are welcome on premises. Owners are responsible
to clean up after their pets and to keep them on a leash. A pet fee of
$25/pet/day or $100/pet/week will be charged.
- Cleaning: No Cleaning Fee; Maid Service Upon Request
($50 per service)
- Smoking is allowed on deck and outside areas ONLY.
Violations are subject to be billed an additional night's room rate in
order to cover the cleaning expenses.
- Hot Tub/Spa: Guests are given permission to use the
hot tub “at their own risk.” They must assume full liability
and responsibility for any injury or loss to themselves, anyone accompanying
them, and/or property that might occur. A signed liability waiver will
be required prior to check-in.
- Lost Keys: There is a $35 fee for lost keys.

- Prepayment is required at the time the reservation
is made. Prepayment will be charged to the credit card on file at the
time of the written confirmation of the reservation. A cancellation
fee of $25 or 10% (whichever is greater) is charged for ALL cancellations,
without exception. Please contact us for details prior to making a
reservation!
- Cancellations/Refunds: A cancellation fee of $25
or 10% (whichever is greater) is charged for ALL cancellations, without
exception. If cancellation occurs LESS than 14 days (21 days for holidays
and/or special events) prior to the day of arrival, the cancellation
fee equals 100% of the rate and therefore, NO refund will be issued.
There are no exceptions to this policy. Reservations canceled LESS
than 14/21 days before the scheduled date of arrival are NON-REFUNDABLE. "No-Show" guests
and "Early Departures" are considered cancellations within
the non-refundable period.
- Tax: Ferndale charges a transient occupancy tax
of 8%, which is not included in the published rates.
- Deposit: No Security Deposit. We reserve the right
to hold guests liable for any damages caused in, on or around premises
during their stay, including but not limited to bedding, mattresses,
furniture, etc. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $100 will be charged
if the cottage needs excessive cleaning after check-out.
