About Us

We have enjoyed having guests
share Jeannette's Cottage since
2005. We invite you to pick our
brains about local eateries,
activities, sights to see, etc.

We love to share the
Victorian Village of Ferndale
with our guests!

Lorie is a fourth generation Ferndaler and is currently on the board of the Ferndale Museum. If you have a local history question, just ask Lorie.

Tom is also a volunteer with the local Fire Department. If you hear a siren followed by tires spinning on gravel, it's just Tom responding to a fire or medical emergency.

attached greenhouse/solariumArtist and painter Jeannette Ford designed this artful guest cottage as a smaller replica of her house across the street.

We hope you will enjoy her vision as much as we always have!

Overlooking Ferndale

From California Highway 101, take the Fernbridge/Ferndale exit. Cross historic Fernbridge and drive Hwy. 211 through five miles of pastoral views to Ferndale's Main Street. Turn right onto Fern Ave. (at the Ferndale Public Library), and drive to the end of the lane, 505 Fern Ave. Parking for Jeannette's Cottage is clearly marked.
